The Indus Craft Co. | Crafting Nature into Life.
Version 1.0 | Effective Date: 23 June 2026
For all international buyers — covering sample pricing, bulk pricing, and the transition from samples to bulk orders.
How TICC Pricing Works
The Indus Craft Co. operates a two-tier pricing structure: transparent, fixed pricing for sample orders placed online, and negotiated, quotation-based pricing for bulk and export orders. This Policy explains how each tier works, what is included in each price, how the sample credit mechanism operates, and the currency and validity rules that apply to all TICC pricing.
This Pricing Policy explains how The Indus Craft Co. structures and communicates pricing for sample orders and bulk export orders placed by international buyers. It covers:
This Policy applies to all international wholesale and B2B buyers dealing with The Indus Craft Co. It does not override or replace the individual Proforma Invoice, formal quotation, or written agreement issued for a specific order.
2.1 USD Is the Standard Currency. All TICC prices — whether sample or bulk — are quoted, invoiced, and payable in United States Dollars (USD). TICC does not quote in GBP, EUR, AUD, INR, or any other currency as a standard practice.
2.2 Exchange Rate Responsibility. The Buyer is responsible for any exchange rate conversion costs, bank transfer fees, or foreign transaction charges incurred when making payment in USD from a non-USD account. The exchange rate applied is the buyer's bank rate at time of payment, not a TICC rate.
2.3 Bank Charges. All bank transfer charges, wire fees, and intermediary bank deductions are the Buyer's responsibility. TICC invoices must be received in full — net of all banking costs. If a payment arrives short due to bank deductions, the shortfall must be covered before production or shipment proceeds.
Currency Rule: All TICC prices are in USD. The Buyer pays all bank and conversion fees. Amounts received must equal the invoiced USD total.
Part A
Sample Pricing
Sample pricing is the individual unit price displayed on the TICC website (www.theinduscraftco.com) for each product listed. Sample prices reflect the actual production cost of handcrafting a small number of units to order, plus website overhead.
Key Principle
Sample prices are NOT discounted or promotional prices. They reflect the real cost of artisan production for small quantities. Bulk order pricing will differ from sample pricing because economies of scale, container-level quantities, and negotiated terms apply to bulk.

Not Included ✗
3.4 Sample Price Finality. Sample prices displayed on the website are the actual prices at the time of order placement. They are not negotiable for individual sample orders. Prices may change over time as raw material costs, production costs, or other inputs change. The price charged is the price at the time your order is confirmed.
3.5 No Sample Discounts. TICC does not offer sample discounts, coupon codes, introductory rates, or promotional pricing on sample orders. Any third-party offers or discounts not confirmed directly by TICC at hello@theinduscraftco.com are not valid.
Part B
Bulk Pricing
Bulk pricing applies to all confirmed export orders above the minimum qualifying threshold. Unlike sample pricing, bulk pricing is not displayed on the website. It is negotiated order by order and confirmed in a formal Quotation or Proforma Invoice issued by TICC.
Bulk pricing reflects:
4.2 Minimum Order Value. TICC's minimum qualifying bulk merchandise order value is USD 5,000 (excluding freight, duties, taxes, inspection, and certification charges). Orders below this value may be treated as sample or small-quantity orders and priced accordingly.
Normally Included ✓
Excluded Unless Stated ✗
Important: Always check your TICC Proforma Invoice carefully. Items not listed as included are excluded. If in doubt, confirm with TICC before accepting the Proforma Invoice.
4.5 Bulk Price Negotiation. Buyers may negotiate unit price, quantity, product mix, packaging specification, production timeline, and shipment mode. However, the following are not negotiable on a per-order basis unless TICC provides written approval: payment terms, inspection requirement, sample credit rules, and export documentation standards.
4.6 Bulk Price Validity. All TICC bulk quotations and Proforma Invoices carry a validity period, normally stated on the document. If no validity is stated, the quotation is valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issue. After expiry, prices may be revised due to changes in raw material cost, freight rates, certification costs, exchange rates, or production capacity.
Price Validity Rule
A quotation or Proforma Invoice that has expired is not a binding price. Buyers who delay confirmation risk a revised price being issued. Contact TICC immediately if you need a quotation extended.
Part C
Sample-to-Bulk Pricing Transition
Sample prices and bulk prices are different because they reflect different production realities. Buyers should not assume that the bulk price per unit will equal the sample price per unit. In most cases, the bulk unit price will be lower than the sample unit price because:
Conversely, some bulk orders with high certification requirements, custom specifications, or complex packaging may carry a higher total order cost per unit than a basic sample, even at larger quantities.
To bridge the sample-to-bulk transition, TICC offers a Sample Credit Adjustment that offsets eligible paid sample product value against the Buyer's first qualifying bulk order. This effectively reduces the net cost of the bulk order for buyers who have already invested in samples.
Sample Credit Rules — Summary
| Item | Rule |
|---|---|
| Minimum sample value for credit | USD 300 paid sample product value (excl. shipping/taxes) |
| Minimum qualifying bulk value | USD 5,000 confirmed bulk merchandise value (excl. freight/duties) |

| Credit validity | 180 days from sample invoice date (extendable in writing) |
| Format | Invoice credit only — not a cash refund |
| Applies to | First qualifying bulk order only (additional credits require written approval) |
Worked Example — Sample Credit Applied to First Bulk Order

This example is illustrative only. Actual amounts depend on the specific order, approved payment term, inspection costs, and confirmed sample credit eligibility verified by TICC.
TICC offers fixed payment options for bulk orders. Buyers may negotiate product price but payment terms must remain within approved options. The approved payment codes are:
| Payment Code | Payment Term & Use Case |

| PT-LC3070 | 30% advance + 70% irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight. Large approved orders where LC terms are accepted by TICC and its bank. |
Core Rule
No production, procurement, or supplier booking starts until the required advance payment is received or the approved LC structure is in place. No shipment is released until full payment is received or approved LC terms are satisfied.
TICC reserves the right to revise prices at any time due to changes in:
Price revisions will not affect orders already confirmed by an accepted Proforma Invoice and received advance payment, unless a material change in cost has occurred after confirmation and TICC has notified the Buyer in writing.
7.2 Sample Price Changes. Sample prices displayed on the TICC website may be updated at any time. The price charged is the price shown on the website at the time the order is placed and paid. Previous sample prices do not entitle a buyer to the same price on a subsequent order.
7.3 Quotation Expiry and Re-Pricing. If a Buyer allows a bulk quotation to expire without confirming the order, TICC may issue a revised quotation at updated prices. TICC is not obliged to hold prices after the validity period stated in the quotation.
